Carmen is a Chartered Physiotherapist with broad experience treating musculoskeletal conditions across a wide range of patients — from active individuals and athletes to those managing persistent pain or returning to movement after injury or illness.

She enjoys working with complex presentations and takes a calm, thorough approach to assessment and rehabilitation. This includes supporting people with ongoing pain, movement confidence issues, and symptoms such as dizziness or balance problems alongside more common conditions affecting the spine, joints and soft tissues.

Carmen’s practice is centred on understanding the whole picture. She prioritises clear communication, careful assessment and personalised rehabilitation plans that are tailored to each individual’s goals, lifestyle and level of activity.

Carmen holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and an MSc in Sport & Exercise Medicine (Distinction). She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP).

Her professional background includes NHS practice across a variety of community and hospital settings, alongside extensive experience in sporting environments. Carmen has supported medical teams in football and rugby, as well as at major national and international sporting events including athletics championships and the London Marathon.

In addition to her core musculoskeletal work, Carmen has undertaken further training in areas including vestibular rehabilitation, sports massage, taping and strapping. This allows her to support patients with dizziness, balance difficulties and more complex rehabilitation needs when appropriate, while continuing to see the full spectrum of physiotherapy presentations.
